My Story
Hi, I'm Nate
From a young age, cooking has been my passion. I grew up in Monterey County, California, and started out as a bus boy at a local restaurant. I soon worked my way into the role of chef, and I was hooked.
From there, I continued cooking at high-end resort properties and small fine dining joints. I attended culinary school in Vermont and traveled abroad, learning different cooking styles throughout Europe and Southeast Asia. I was even featured in Food to Live By, an Earthbound Farms Organic Cookbook.
Eventually, I became a Roadie Chef. Over the course of six years, I cooked for Motley Crüe, TOOL, Linkin Park, Jason Mraz, New Kids on the Block, Black Eyed Peas, Michael Bublé, Blink 182, Eminem, and Brian Setzer (serving as his personal chef) . . . to name a few. I even had a stint working as a private chef on the yacht of a wonderful family.
After 25 years of diverse culinary experience, I have decided to focus on what makes me happy—working as a personal chef in beautiful Bend.
As a chef, I’m unique, charming, flexible, and easy to get along with. I quickly adapt to any group and make everyone feel comfortable.
I have always liked seeing people completely satisfied and blown away after a meal. That's the feeling I want YOU to have.
